ASSOCIATE ART DIRECTOR

The Company enhances its roster of brands by licensing trademarks from third parties, including: Nike® and Jag® for swimwear, and Callaway®, PGA TOUR®, and Jack Nicklaus® for golf apparel.THE SUMMARY:Perry Ellis International is looking for an Associate Art Director with a passion for the outdoors to build a new brand. She/He has proven experience in branding, graphic design, developing consumer campaigns and working across mediums. THE JOB:Reporting to the VP of Marketing and based in Portland, OR, the Associate Art Director will develop and execute the brand creative strategy, create innovative and effective marketing campaigns and oversee all  visual communication aspects of the brand. Our ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of the Outdoors space and a passion to build brands.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:      * Lead the development and execution of fully integrated, creative plans that drive key brand marketing initiatives     * Create work that differentiates the brand in the marketplace, ensuring brand strategy, voice and visual are consistent across touchpoints to elevate the brand. * A strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design skills backed by strategic understanding and solid production experience.
