Assistant Store Manager, Valley Fair

**Position Summary**

VIVAIA is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily retail operations, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager will help develop a high-performing team, maintain operational excellence, and ensure the store reflects VIVAIA's commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key leader on the sales floor and acts as Manager-on-Duty when needed.

### Key Responsibilities

**Sales & Customer Experience**

* Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
* Support the achievement of sales goals, KPIs, and store performance metrics.
* Build strong customer relationships and promote brand loyalty through personalized service.
* Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

**Leadership & Team Development**

* Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching team members.
* Motivate associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
* Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.

**Store Operations**

* Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention practices.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
* Manage inventory processes, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.

**Business Performance**

* Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
* Assist in scheduling and labor management to support business needs.
* Support local marketing initiatives, in-store events, and promotional activities.
* Partner with the Store Manager to execute company strategies and initiatives.

**Requirements**

* 2–4 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, fashion, or lifestyle retail.
* Proven ability to drive sales and achieve performance goals.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds during shifts.

### Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with premium footwear or fashion brands.
* Knowledge of retail inventory management systems and POS platforms.
* Passion for sustainable fashion and environmentally conscious products.
