2ND STREET USA is a fast-growing fashion resale retailer specializing in buying, selling, and trading secondhand clothing and accessories. We’re hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our new Wynwood location in Miami, FL.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to help launch a brand-new store while building toward future Store Manager and multi-unit leadership opportunities.

New Store Opening & Leadership TrainingInitial Leadership Training — Costa Mesa, CA

Selected Assistant Store Managers will begin their leadership training at our Costa Mesa location in California.

Training will focus on:

Store operations and retail leadership
Buying and inventory management
Merchandising and visual standards
Customer service
Team leadership and development
2ND STREET USA standards, culture, and operating procedures

Following the initial training period, you will transition to the new Wynwood location to support the store opening and establish the team and operations.

New Store Setup & Opening

As part of the opening team, you’ll help:

Set up and merchandise the new store
Receive, organize, and prepare inventory
Hire, onboard, and train team members
Establish operational standards and routines
Prepare the store and team for opening
Support pre-opening activities and grand opening execution

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop employees, and oversee day-to-day retail operations.

Leadership & Store Operations

Lead daily store operations and support sales goals
Coach, train, and motivate store employees
Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
Maintain company policies and operational standards
Support payroll and attendance management
Help create a positive, productive, and engaging store culture
Support the Store Manager in achieving operational and business goals

Buying, Inventory & Merchandising

Make buying decisions based on company standards, customer demand, and current fashion trends
Manage inventory levels, pricing, and replenishment
Execute visual merchandising and promotional strategies
Monitor local retail and fashion trends
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor
Support the buying and selling processes that make 2ND STREET unique

Customer Experience & Sales

Deliver excellent customer service
Resolve customer questions and concerns
Drive sales through product knowledge and team leadership
Support POS, fitting rooms, replenishment, and sales floor operations
Create an environment that encourages customers to discover new styles and possibilities

Qualifications

2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and customer service
Passion for fashion, resale, and current trends
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
Reliable, accountable, and professional
Available to work weekends and holidays
Willingness to travel for initial leadership training in Costa Mesa, CA
Open to relocation or travel opportunities associated with future store growth preferred
