Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Justice (2 positions)

Parsons School of Design, a college of The New School, invites candidates for Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Justice, a renewable term or tenure-track appointment in the School of Fashion beginning July 1, 2024. The work of this faculty member is divided between (1) teaching, (2) scholarship or professional/creative practice, and (3) university service. All faculty are expected to be engaged with scholarship or professional/creative practice at a level commensurate with their faculty rank. • A graduate degree in fashion design or related design field, or equivalent professional experience (such as experiences in the fashion industry, fashion entrepreneurship and/or community work).
