Assistant Photographer

We are seeking a new member of our Photography team who is motivated, detail oriented, highly organized, with 2-5 years of experience - or the educational equivalent. The Assistant Photographer is an Junior-level photography position which provides technical, creative, and logistical support for daily production of Automotive photography in our Long Beach Studio. Qualifications • Must have practical knowledge of studio lighting equipment and techniques • BA/BS/Diploma in Photography or equivalent experience • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to accept responsibility • The ideal candidate will be highly inspired, organized, detail-oriented, creative and motivated • Excellent color perception • Automotive experience is a plus! Duties • Assists photographers with daily production • Preparation of vehicles for scanning and photography • 3D Laser scanning of vehicle exteriors and interiors • Organize and prepare captured data for post-production • Train to substitute for photographers • Prepare vehicles for photography • Studio and equipment maintenance • On-Location scanning of cars, as required • other duties and responsibilities as assigned
