We are looking for a for an Associate Textile/Print Designer Womens Apparel Temp to Perm for a top fashion company in New York, NY! Multi-brand Fashion Design Company seeks qualified Associate Designer of Textiles to assist the Senior Designer of Textiles for a QVC apparel brand in creation of concept boards, color palettes and all artwork development. We are looking for a collaborative team player who has a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve the best results. Responsibilities: Create production ready artwork across multiple capsules and product categories Maintain color library Maintain digital print library Support Senior Designer in searching concept images Create color names, physical as well as digital color palettes Communicate ideas clearly and effectively Qualifications: Junior level, 2 or more years of experience and a strong interest in print, pattern and color Strong understanding of Adobe Photoshop or Kaledo is a must, Illustrator and InDesign is plus Creative, highly organized and inspirational thinker Excellent communication skills High level of pride in quality of work and detail-focused Understanding of how to create screen separated production-ready artwork in various types of repeats Strong understanding of color and color relationships Understanding of different printing techniques and fabrications Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
