Assistant or Associate Professor in Fashion Design

The Textile and Fashion Design Program (TFD) in the Department of Design Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison seeks applicants for a faculty position in Fashion Design with a focus on Circular and Sustainable Design. This position will also provide thought-leadership for guiding the Fashion Design program and carries research, teaching, and service responsibilities appropriate for the rank sought: assistant or associate professor level. Terminal degree (PhD or MFA) by the position start date and evidence of scholarship through practice-based work and/or publications in fashion design, textile design or art journals. Faculty and students have access to rich resources and facilities provided by the Center for Design and Material Culture in the School of Human Ecology. In addition, you will be asked to provide the names and contact information of three references willing to be contacted for reference check and letters of recommendation at a later date within the application system.
