Assistant Fashion Designer

L.A. ROXX is looking for a Los Angeles based assistant fashion designer, working directly under the creative director and head designer. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ideate spontaneously across a broad range of areas and translate ideas and abstract concepts into visual materials that support brand and its product strategies for our clients. Must have advance sketching skills. • Fast paced environment friendly- must be efficient with every task • Understands concept costume development and brand strategy • Understanding of theatrical costuming • Positive energy with the ability to motivate and communicate new ideas • Motivated personality with a “no task is too small” mentality • Great communication skills: good written and oral communication • Reliable and dependable, inspires trust and takes responsibility for their actions • Familiarity with fashion brands, celebrities, stylists, trends, and digital media • Up to date with the latest street style trends • Strong organization and presentation skills • Access to Car • Professional attitude • Ability to oversee production on a project from start to finish • Great opportunity to create a job and build a career in fashion.
