ASSISTANT DIGITAL DESIGNER

Responsibilities Core Accountabilities: Development Concept creation, design and execution of overall visual language for pacsun.com – including website updates, emails, mobile app updates, banners and other online media Design for the digital space with understanding of the unique challenges of digital and mobile platforms Collaborate with cross-functional to meet marketing objectives and adhere to timelines Strong foundational design skills and ability to emulate brand and design standards Consistently consult with Manger for guidance and validation Solicits and assimilates design feedback; independently execute revisions with a high level of accuracy Research and stay current with digital design trends Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, be a team player, share information and provide a fresh perspective Delivery Understanding of web design Responsible for adhering to style guide and asset delivery requirements for web Collaborates with Development Team to ensure correct implementation of approved design direction Leadership Expectations: Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates. As a manager, serve as a leader of company culture, norms, and conduct. Qualifications Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field Formal training in graphic design, typography, digital design and/or visual communications 3+ year experience in Digital Design and Production, in-house/digital experience preferred Highly conceptual and ability to interpret and adapt existing brands to the interactive space Working knowledge of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to translate feedback visually Detail oriented, highly organized and a keen eye for consistency Must be team-oriented, dedicated, inquisitive, and collaborative Ability to work independently Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
