This includes understanding numerous design aesthetics and contributing viable designs to the necessary brands.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:  Takes direction from the Manager and expands on direction/inspiration. It is important that the designer have a voice and vision of their own.Takes trend and market research and works innovative designs into brand appropriate stylesParticipates in seasonal trend books and media presentation through the use of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesignAnalyzes with Manager on past best sellers and worst sellers for future developmentReviews with Manager SKU plans to formulate needed design work for upcoming season.Support presenting Design product to Licensors, Sales and Retailers, must also be comfortable in presenting in large group internally.Travels to shop the market when applicable, as well as present product to key retailersOther related job functions are at the discretion of the manager as neededMake compelling Digital product presentations to Sales and Cross Functional TeamsDress shirt seasonal developmentsCreates viable brand appropriate designs through CAD for Dress shirtParticipate reviews Dress shirt pattern work with the Raw Materials teamIn charge of sample check in as well as working with the appropriate groups to resolve any issues pertaining to samplesDevelops new trims and buttonsUtilizes Illustrator/Photoshop to create art work for trim developmentReviews all Dress shirt H/E, Lab Dips and H/L NYO approval with ManagerCoordinates and prepares new development hand off with the Tech and Design teamParticipates as necessary in model set upPLM entry & communicating with Design product development on correct information for Tech pack creationNeckwearWork with Neckwear Mills to develop design through fabric strikes & blanketsWork with manager to filter down to best selectionSupport initiating Neckwear blankets with Mills in seasonal coloursCreate seasonal boards for reviews with leadershipInput Design information into PLM seasonallyOwn Finalizations (product technical package) for neckwearWork with Supply to execute final bulk productionQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: 1+ years related experience required, in depth knowledge of computer software skills is preferred      Education: Bachelor DegreeSkills:  Creative and Driven, Browzwear or comparable 3D garment rendering software, InDesign, Dobby Pro, Photo Shop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office.PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
