The Assistant Designer role is a good introduction to the Nike Swim product line for an entry level apparel designer. Will follow the Nike design and color direction by working closely with the other Nike Swim apparel designers. Responsible for creating and maintaining illustrator images (wireframe and colored images) for CADS and tech sheets Create product tech sheets for the technical designers and product developers Responsible for updating the whole team of any style changes Attend fit sessions with lead designer(s) to take detailed notes and make necessary adjustments to CADS and tech sheets Assist designers with approving lab dips and print strike-offs Assist the designers with print job request forms Assist with market research to identify seasonal trends within silhouettes, print and color. Assist with go to market planning and salesmen tools Responsible for creating images for all PEI software needs Responsible for SMU requests, excess fabric orders, grab bag designs.
