Our client, a Los Angeles based plus sized retailer, is looking for an Assistant Designer for Intimates to join their team for a 3 week contract with possibility of extension.The Assistant Designer for Intimates will be responsible for supporting the development of trend groups and assisting with implementing and creating technical packages. Responsibilities: Complete silhouette sketching (lingerie and panties) and detailed technical sketches Research fabrics and trims through shopping, internet, magazines, etc Coordinate layout artwork pages Create, organize and update reference libraries (fabrics, tech packs, development samples) Assist Designer in daily design processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field 1-2 years of design experience including technical knowledge Hand sketching experience is highly preferred Intimates (lingerie, panties) experience preferred Strong computer skills including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure If this description fits your background, apply with your resume and portfolio today! #fashion
