Well established company in the heart of New York is looking for an Entry/Mid level assistant designer CUT&SEW DEPARTMENT, willing to learn and grow. Supports the designs of cut and sew  /  Woven  garments throughout the development cycle from concept to production Communicate and follow up with factories and team members on product development design details Initiates detailed tech packs and maintains organization Specking samples and data entry Prepares line sheets for meetings Understanding and adaptation of Time and Action Calendar Supports Designer with inspiration and trend research Creates an environment that promotes continual learning and development for future leadership and growth Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Microsoft Office skills Strong organizational, communication, & multi-tasking skills Strong work ethic and attention to details Strong teamwork skills, enjoys working with others, and has a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Interest in gaining new responsibilities and take initiative where necessary to complete tasks Good grasp on the technical aspect of construction, fit, and standard specs Good taste level very important High standards and take pride in the work at hand
