ASSISTANT DESIGNER

Will be responsible for creating and maintaining apparel tech sheets and graphic schematics for all categories. Assists the designers with administrative product design needs for the merchandising and technical design teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:      * Responsible for the entire design process from conceptualization through production of the Nike Swim Performance Swimwear categories. * Responsible for creating and maintaining illustrator images (wireframe and colored images) for CADS and tech sheets     * Administer and follow up with the product design process to include preparation of technical sheets and graphic schematics, understanding of PLM process, email correspondence, and responsible for updating team of any style changes     * Prepare basic flat sketch designs and responsible for InDesign CADing of multiple product swim lines. * Assist Textile Designer with all areas of print design: design, color-ups, print fills and checking repeats.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES     * Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. * Basic knowledge of product, fabric, garment construction, design and color.
