Summary Responsible for monitoring shortage results, controlling shrink, conducting investigations and apprehensions for internal and external theft, and implementing store safety and awareness programs at a Saks Fifth Avenue location. Responsibilities Monitor daily and monthly shortage and inventory reports to maintain inventory integrityOrganize and conduct annual store inventoryDevelop shortage strategies for merchandise groups and paperwork controlsTrain store associates on awareness and asset protection policies and proceduresConduct investigations and apprehensions related to theftImplement store safety and awareness programsMaintain compliance with certification and jurisdictional requirementsUse store IT applications and systems for loss prevention tasksRequirements Minimum of 2 years asset protection experience in a large volume retail environment preferredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredCertification required where applicable by jurisdictionAbility to learn company standards, procedures, and IT applications quicklyWicklander-Zulawski certification a plusStrong investigative and communication skillsAbility to develop and implement shortage control strategies
