Art Director, Fashion Content

Lucy in the Sky (http://lucyinthesky.com) creative studio is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our fast paced Marketing & Creative Departments. Successful candidates must have a proven ability to drive the visual identity of our brand through photography, graphics and video art direction and will have verifiable industry experience in either fashion or creative marketing. Responsibilities: • Planning and executing photo and video productions shoots • Building and updating style guides and technical standards for in-studio fashion photography and editorial videos • Presenting conceptual directions to the creative team • Identifying potential creative talent who can raise the bar on creative output • Collaborating with our marketing team to identify areas for experimentation with new content formats • Identify new concepts and formats in which to generate relevant content • First-hand knowledge of photo and video production, including lighting, set design, image capture, and retouching and video editing processes • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and image capture software • An online portfolio demonstrating scope of functional capabilities and aesthetic choices • Experience leading the creation of branded imagery for a fashion brand, retailer or publication • Knowledge of the modern fashion industry and trends and applicable marketing formats What we have to offer: • Full-time employment with competitive compensation package • Fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance • Paid parking in DTLA • Fun and happy creative studio environment
