Position Description The ASM is also responsible for supporting a high level of engagement and a people development culture in his/ her area and throughout the store, since the success of the business is tied to the quality and performance of the team. Responsible for achievement of Sales, Controllable Profit, EBITDA, Payroll Management, P&L performance, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and Store to Store Supports the selling and service processes; providing leadership and motivation to team in achieving sales goals, driving omni channel growth and execution of company initiatives Oversees the merchandising processes in his/ her area to ensure that standards are maintained and signage and pricing vehicles are current and clear Monitors store payroll rate and expense; Monitors staffing in his/ her area, ensuring scheduling aligns with overall business needs and traffic flow Maintains a proactive plan to fill open positions by recruiting and hiring quality associates with flexible availability and strong selling and customer service skills Develops and retains direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibilities and providing a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positions Responsible for maintaining fair and accurate practices within his/ her area including equitable hiring, scheduling, promotions, and performance management Manages poor performance and terminations in his/ her area appropriately, in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center and Legal department, to improve overall productivity and performance of the team Ensures that all appropriate financial and regulatory controls are in place and monitors compliance, protecting confidential and non-public information Consistently adheres to all standards and deadlines for hiring, onboarding and separation of Associates to maintain compliance with company and legal guidelines Reacts quickly to business needs by identifying business opportunities within area by partnering with the Store Director on actions and suggestions to corporate partners Supports achievement of the inventory shortage strategy, results, and concerns, the Store Audit, and communicates policies and procedures to store population Maintains strict adherence to Meal Periods and Breaks Guidelines Ensures the ongoing maintenance of the selling floor fitting rooms and customer areas Thank you for your interest with Saks OFF 5TH.
