Apparel Graphics Designer

General Responsibilities: Research trends within the market and our competitors seasonally Create original, on-trend apparel graphics Conceptualize and design apparel graphics through sketch, prototype, and final production process Collaborate with Designers to develop and execute seasonal graphics Develop accurate Tech packs and art specs with clear communication on sample expectations to overseas factories Review and comment on all product strike offs with vendors, updating specs and instructions as needed, to meet final product expectations Maintain a strong knowledge of current trends, competitor landscape, color technology, application techniques and fabric trends Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Design and/or 5-7 years of relevant design experience required Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator and Photoshop required Ability to create illustrations and hand sketch Foundational understanding of all technical aspects of design and graphic execution, such as color and screen separation, various printing methods, etc. Environment: Fast-paced role Casual dress-code In-office with remote/flexible day Friday Benefits: 401k match (11) paid company holidays (including Birthday holiday! ), vacation, & sick/personal time Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employee Discount Purchase Program Employee Assistance Program Paid Maternity Leave Company-paid life insurance Company contribution to HSA account Generous clothing allowance Food trucks and other company-sponsored staff events monthly Flexible work Fridays Company-sponsored paid community service events NOTE: No application will be considered without portfolio.
