2.7 August Apparel is looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative team and help bring our concepts to life.

Based in the heart of the LA Fashion District, we’re a fast-growing B2B apparel company behind popular brands like Endless Rose, English Factory, Grey Lab, and Free the Roses. Since 2011, we’ve built a reputation for delivering on-trend, high-quality fashion and we’re just getting started.

What You’ll Do
• Assist the design team in creating sketches, mood boards, and color palettes
• Conduct trend research and support seasonal concept development.
• Support with sample fittings, patternmaking, and technical drawings.
• Help source fabrics and trims, track materials, and manage sample flow.
• Communicate design specs to production and assist with resolving any issues
• Support Photoshoot team and keep the design studio organized and maintain material/sample archives
• Provide administrative support and work closely with the Creative Director.

What We’re Looking For
• A strong eye for fashion, design, and trends
• 1+ years of experience in apparel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with technical flats
• Great organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and a team-player attitude
• A positive, can-do spirit and attention to detail
• * Portfolio relate with Women's clothing is required **

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
