Apparel Designer & Product Developer

Malouf is looking for an experienced Apparel Designer/Product Developer to work in our recently acquired partner company. Responsibilities and Qualifications Ability to work with all functions of designing various collections, or specific items in a collection on tight time frames Must be able to match design creations to defined target customers between various brands Must be aware of current trends, colors, fits, etc Must be a team player with a positive attitude Opportunities may exist to assist with overseas suppliers, negotiate pricing, coordinate samples Participate in fittings to give design direction to Tech Team Experience with WFX software a plus Coordinate with marketing team as needed and willingness to participate in photoshoots, marketing calendar, web/social, when appropriate Must be willing and able to adjust design proposals based on data and feedback from sales results Must have atleast 5 years applicable fashion design experience. Pattern Making skills, sweater or denim experience is a huge BONUS Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time with attention to detail. Learn/retain product information quickly. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
