Apparel Designer

Job Description: The Designer will be responsible for project management, calendar management, sample execution, sample room management and costing. Detailed Job Expectations and Duties: • Source and test new fabrics, washes, prints, embellishments • Develop and spec new designs for patterning • Conduct fittings • Maintain organization of fabric, styles, fits • Communicate with sales reps and manage all design requests • Work with management on developing design launches that help to achieve company goals • Cad graphics • Merchandise collections and presentations • Costing Required Experience: • 5 years of design experience in domestic production Benefits: • 401k with employer matching • Health, dental, vision insurance • Dog friendly office • Secure parking • Discount on clothing • Room for growth
