Apparel Design - Technical and Administrative Assistant

childrenswear brand is looking for someone to work directly with the lead designer and her small team to create twice yearly fashion collections for the baby and childrenswear market. The focus of this job is to assist our lead designer with research, technical documentation and administrative support to collaboratively develop cohesive seasonal collections of children’s apparel and accessories, and to manage production via communication with our factories. • Track and maintain a detailed record of sample fabrics, costs, pattern modifications and other details during the development process, and coordinate with vendors to develop and revise samples. • Create detailed and accurate production orders, and ensure accurate and timely production through clear and timely communication with domestic and overseas factories. • Maintain organized sample sets for the sales team.
