We are a creative, dynamic, and quickly-growing apparel company that is seeking energetic and smart individual to join our team as a Technical/Production Fit Designer. Serious candidates must be motivated, quick learners, and passionate about doing their job. Adobe Illustrator and Google Drive - Ability to use Illustrator to create technical sketches to the vendor based on feedback from fit - Strong understanding of patterns, points of measurement, grade and yield - Strong technical knowledge of sewing and construction, including thread tension, overlock machines, flatlock machines, lift, extension, fills and how each impact the fit of the garment - Planning, prioritizing and organization - ability to establish and maintain schedules, prioritize work and track evolution of fits - Excellent time management skills - Attention to detail - Team-oriented; ability to excel in a team-based structure - High level of comfort presenting category fits to merchants, management and sales teams - Knowledge of technical apparel construction, fabric construction, properties of fabrics as well as refined technical finishes and trim details - 5-10 years of experience in leading technical fittings for production - Experience with beading and embroidery a plus. - Degree in Fashion Design or Product Development required - 3-5 years in technical design or production
