LOCATION: SMCP NORTH AMERICA HEADQUARTERS, 44 WALL STREET, NEW YORK, NYSMCP USA Inc. (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot & De Fursac) is seeking an entrepreneurial ALLOCATOR to support the North America Planning + Allocation Team. This role is responsible for the completion of daily activities that support replenishment, sales and inventory initiatives to optimize inventory and drive profitability. S/he acts as the direct liaison to all retail channels for stock level analysis and sales support.At SMCP, we are committed to providing our team with a safe and healthy work environment. SMCP will consider requests for exemption from this policy as a reasonable accommodation, consistent with federal, state, and local law.Additionally, all corporate employees may work remotely two days/week.What you’ll do:ALLOCATION & STORE PLANNINGReview and execute the allocation plans based on store sales, budget and buy for all North America channels (Free-Standing Stores, Leased Corners, Internet and Wholesale)Manage the replenishment program through auto and manual replenishment in Scortex and Storeland systems from multiple warehouses to store fleetSet-up store sales profiles to create models for initial allocations in Scortex systemMonitor and maintain store stock levels down to the size-level and execute inter-store transfers/consolidations based on performance regularly throughout the seasonAnalyze store trends, sizing opportunities and shifts in business to impact future allocationsProject and track deliveries to forecast warehouse workloadPartner with the Demand Planning team to action Centralized Stock shipments & Global Stock transfersREPORTING & DATA ANALYSISCompile data and generate standard as well as ad hoc reporting, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisReview business weekly with members of the Planning & Merchandising Team to understand trend and performance and create action plans to drive future resultsPerform seasonal allocation hindsight to review last season’s results and inform decision-making for the futureComplete EOS Sizing Analysis to develop size profiles for the following seasonCOMMUNICATION & SUPPORTWork cross-functionally with multiple teams (Merchandising, Logistics, Visual, IT, Operations, Inventory Control, Marketing)Receive, review, and respond to store requests for merchandise and deliveries in a timely mannerSupport Retail network with seasonal wardrobe allocationProvide administration and other ad hoc support as needed to Planning Team and cross-functional counterpartsQUALIFICATIONS1 + years of prior Allocation or Planning experience including internships.Completed Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is preferredMUST be systems-oriented & proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced pivot table & v-lookup experience requiredPrior experience with the Scoretex and/or Anaplan allocation systems a plus.Fast learner with a desire to continue within this function of the Retail IndustryExcellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, prioritize and meet tight deadlines concurrentlyAbility to work independently and be flexibleAbility to handle a fast-paced work environment with poiseEfficient and entrepreneurialDemonstrates a sense of urgency.Enthusiastic and team player with a can-do attitudeSome benefits of working at SMCP:Health, dental and vision insuranceVoluntary insurance coverage including Pet insuranceGenerous Paid Time Off - 20 days off!Summer Fridays!Parental leave policy(non-birthing parents included)Retirement savings plan (401k) with Company matchClothing AllowanceGenerous retail discount - 50% offWonderful team and colleagues!
