Simply click APPLY ONLINE and follow the steps to upload your application. \- Administer Oracle (RAC 11g and 12c) Database Cluster on AIX and Microsoft SQL 2017 Always-On Database Cluster including monitoring, maintaining, and updating systems, creating, configuring, and testing new databases, planning and implementing migrations, and backing up and restoring configurations \- Partner with the Development Team on SQL and PL/SQL including query and index tuning, peer reviewing Development team SQL, cross training Development and Systems team members on SQL best practices, and managing mass updates to databases and programs such as Power BI \- Carry out daily tasks such as archive and transaction logging, performance tuning and troubleshooting, data purging and archiving, conducting backup and restore operations via RMAN, and tuning, optimizing, and assisting with queries \- Lead person for new database infrastructure, patches, and upgrades, and service improvements to reduce the inflow of incidents while planning and coordinating with internal and external resources where necessary \- Utilize PUMA monitoring and response systems and help create performance dashboards for KPI and SLA's \- Define & design scope/processes for all new database requirements including the planning and cost estimating with business and technical teams \- Develop necessary scripts and address any issues to automate database specific activities such as health & growth statistic checks, schemas refreshes, job status and timeline checks, and the monitoring of ad-hoc database jobs and database performance assessment \- Assist in building and maintaining the SQL infrastructure, including virtualized and physical clusters, and implement and maintain SQL HA functionality including Always-On Availability Groups and Always-On Failover Cluster Instance \- College degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience \- 5 years of experience as Oracle DBA managing installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations, including migrations of databases to Azure cloud, as well as 3 years of experience as MS SQL DBA \- Oracle RAC experience and knowledge of Oracle DB Performance & SQL Tuning \- Experience working on OEM and with Oracle RMAN \- Experience with SQL Always-On Availability Groups \- Setting up and supporting SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Tabular Model proficiency \- Server and storage administration experience in UNIX and/or Microsoft
