Adjunct Fashion Merchandising and Management

The Fashion Merchandising and Management Department at Long Island University Brooklyn Campus is seeking part-time lecturers to teach FM 140 Merchandising Principles. Responsible for setting up course and course material, teaching, and assurance of learning in connection with coursework assigned. • Teach and review with students materials required for them to meet learning objectives in a manner to ensure learning. From time-to -time, adjunct faculty are required to undergo training to maintain competency in teaching or compliance with government regulations Adjunct faculty must be prepared to teach in person or online as needed, and to maintain technical know-how in order to fulfill job duties optimally. Seeking an adjunct professor who can provide students with a foundational level of mathematical and Excel skills for individuals who will be directly or indirectly involved in activities of merchandising and buying for a fashion company or at the retail level.
