The Fashion Merchandising and Management Department at Long Island University Post Campus is seeking part-time lecturers to teach FM 39 Sustainability in Global Fashion and FM 40 Fundamentals of Textiles. Overall Summary: Responsible for setting up course and course material, teaching, and assurance of learning in connection with... coursework assigned. Teach and review with students materials required for them to meet learning objectives in a manner to ensure learning. All adjunct faculty are required to acquire an LIU email address and to use this as the email address on record for students and University personnel use. In this course, students will also explore the textile industry from the perspective of social sustainability, shifting the focus from the ateriality of textile production to the industry's relationships with the communities from which the product originates.
