Luxury men's and women's apparel and accessories brand seeks a freelance or full-time Accessories Designer to be a part of concept, design, and execution across footwear, bags, hats, belts, and other novelty items. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBe a part of concept & research for each seasonContribute designs with both hand sketching and digital illustrator renderings or photoshop (as best ideal to communicate design)Execute tech packs and CADS for designs: bags / Footwear / socks,  belts, hats, and other novelty items. Enter Techpacks into company PLM systemUpdate & maintain seasonal design boardsHelp set ups presentations in office & present collections with Head DesignerPass corrections to factories throughout the seasonal developmentManage seasonal line sheetsMaintain a high level of organization of materials & samplesUpbeat, high energy attitudeAll hands of deck approach & a love for style & Fashion & desire to learn and grow with a teamQUALIFICATIONSLeather goods experience.Accessory construction experience (either handbags or footwear).Degree from Fashion or Art School.Strong understanding of design development process.Illustrator & Photoshop.Detail oriented.Strong communication skills; email and other platforms.Efficiency oriented.Calendar & planning skills (strong time management).Ability to juggle projects.Team player.Willing to handle many projects at the same time and help out where it is needed.
