The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and execution of operational and management functions designed to maximize sales and profitability within an assigned store location. Follows all guidelines outlined in the Policy and Procedures Manual to create and maintain a safe and pleasant environment for customers and Associates • Organize work throughout the store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service and profitable operation • Maintain a consistent level of service to the customer by ensuring all store staffing requirements • Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner • Execute merchandise displays and visuals to enhance the Brand • Place supply orders and monitor store inventory levels Knowledge, Skills, & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree or higher preferred) • Minimum of 4 years prior retail management experience with at least 2 years experience as a Store Manager • Work a flexible schedule to include some holidays, most weekends and/or late evenings • Demonstrates drive and high level of initiative and willingness to be accountable; shows passion for the product and our business • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, supervisors and Corporate Office partners, both orally and in writing • Experience recruiting, training, coaching & developing store associates • Ability to successfully merchandise the store to drive sales • Detail oriented with proven ability to prioritize initiatives and meet deadlines • Excellent time management skills Ability to apply retail math skills Excellent computer skills and ability to use a POS system Today, our customers are able to shop the brand in retail stores across the United States and on-line through our website, www.ashleystewart.com.
