General Job Functions The person designated as a Door Guard/Greeter will be responsible for insuring that all customers coming into the store are directed to the proper area to help them in their shopping experience and that they are properly greeted. The Door Guard/Greeter will ensure that all bags are properly checked in and that no opened food or drinks are entering the store. They will be stationed in a position so that all incoming customers will pass by this person. Be trained in all areas of the store layout so they can direct customers to the proper location as needed. This position area of responsibility will be to the front end of the store and Door Guard/Greeter will remain there until properly relieved or directed otherwise by Loss Prevention or Store Management.
