Fashion Designer - Women's Contemporary Apparel

New York based women’s fashion company seeks a Fashion Designer. We are a contemporary apparel company that has multiple brands and lines in the missy, women and junior wear categories from related separates, to bottoms, to tops, to jackets, and to sleepwear. Individual should be organized, motivated, creative and have a good sense of style, trends and color direction. Required Skills: - 8 years min experience In missy sportswear - must know both illustrator and photoshop for flat sketch, linesheets, print design, print repeats - must do first specs of design to factories - required to be in fittings and articulate changes to technical designer - must have general paper pattern knowledge and know tech packs - must be able to create prints - must be accurate in color and print approvals - must have good communication skills in office environment, speaking to customers and clear dialog By email, wechat to factories
